108th ACIPR Annual Congress and AGM in Quebec City

After a two-year hiatus, the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association announced that the 108th Annual Conference and AGM will be held at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec City on May 25-26, 2022.

The theme of this year’s conference is “SPARK – Change and Innovation in Coatings”. In an industry where regulation is often the active precursor to many business decisions, paint and coating companies continue to drive innovation as agents of change for their customers. Research and innovation continue to push the boundaries of coatings science, for the benefit of product performance demanded by customers and for a more sustainable environment. The plenary session will look at the current state of the coatings industry and explore technological advancements and what they mean for businesses. Coatings professionals will also explore how various industry challenges, including regulations, have been catalysts for innovation and change. It will examine how the paint and coatings industry is addressing regulatory changes with better R&D for the formulation of innovative products.
