Dubai-based Arabian Adventures, a leading destination management company and part of the dnata Travel group, is launching extensive growth plans for 2022 across its operations.
Offering premium end-to-end destination services to its international travel industry partners, including a range of renowned safaris, tours and desert experiences, as well as cruise management services and of events, the company has strengthened its management team with key appointments to support its growth. The new setup will help Arabian Adventures adapt to rapidly changing trends, improve the efficiency of its operations and continue to provide best-in-class services to customers.
Mohanad Malhas was recently appointed Managing Director to lead Arabian Adventures’ long-term strategy and implement business plans in its key market segments. He commented: “We are working towards an ambitious and successful 30th year of operation in 2022. Safaris, tours and desert experiences: significant investment in a modern fleet and new solutions to meet growing demand
To meet the growing popularity of desert experiences in 2021, the long-time desert safari operator recently added more than 30 new vehicles to its base product and invested in a fleet of additional vehicles to provide services private driver and visits in 2022.
Anabela Radosevic has joined the management team of Arabian Adventures as Business Development Manager to lead its growth and acquire new leisure activities. Its business development team’s priorities for this year include revamping the level of sales and services provided to partners, introducing new solutions to better serve their customers and improving their in-destination experiences.
Cruise management: improved operations to serve a growing number of cruise passengers
Since the Port of Dubai, the city’s new cruise hub, welcomed its first cruise passengers late last year, the Arabian Adventures cruise team has been going full steam ahead. As part of an improved cruise management operation, Arabian Adventures’ award-winning tours and desert safaris now offer experiences to thousands of tourists arriving in Dubai via cruise ships.
Saleh Mohamad has been promoted to senior cruise manager and will continue to oversee all ground handling activities and the company’s shore excursions for cruise passengers in the region. About 150,000 cruise passengers are expected before the beginning of May 2022.
Meetings and events: A busy event pipeline as the sector recovers
Arabian Adventures Meetings, Incentives and Events (AAMIE) looks forward to increasing the number of consumer and business events across the UAE, having brought thousands of international delegates to the country so far this year.
Justine Thomas, Manager of Arabian Adventures MIE, Leisure Groups and Local Events, and her team will organize and manage a major event in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB) and Forever Living, bringing thousands of visitors across the world in Abu Dhabi for the “Forever Living Global Rally 2022” in May, as the pipeline of events throughout the year continues to grow as the sector experiences a strong recovery.
