Graceland will celebrate the holidays this year with a season of Christmas tours, festive concerts, Guest House Christmas packages, and more. Christmas at Graceland officially begins on November 17 and runs until Elvis’ birthday on January 8.

Graceland will kick off the holiday season with an American holiday tradition as the Christmas lights come alive during the annual Holiday Lighting Weekend from November 17-19.
The weekend begins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17 at the annual meeting Holiday Lighting Ceremony where we “flip the switch” on Elvis Christmas lights and decorations to light up Graceland for the season. The expansive Christmas display at Graceland includes hundreds of blue lights lining the walkway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh, and more, all originally displayed by Elvis and the Presley family. A special appearance at the ceremony will be announced soon and there is a 100% chance that it will snow. Santa Claus will be available for photos after the ceremony at the Graceland box office. This event is free and the public is welcome to attend.
As part of Holiday Lighting Weekend, guests can also enjoy two festive concerts at Graceland Soundstage.
- Elvis Christmas Peace on Friday, November 18, will celebrate the soul of Memphis in holiday style with a concert themed around Elvis’ 2003 album titled “Christmas Peace,” which features some of his most Christmas and gospel music appreciated. Hosted by the singer, songwriter and guitarist John Paul Keithguest performers for the evening include Katrina Anderson, Nicole Atkins, Peedy Chavez, Jesse Kramer, Jean Nemethand TN Mass Choir. Elvis’ Christmas Peace will infuse classical Christmas and gospel music with the soul of Memphis for a unique musical celebration of the holidays.

For those unable to make it to Holiday Lighting Weekend, Graceland will be offering Christmas tours for an extended period this season. From November 17 to December 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, enjoy live tour guides in Graceland Mansion during our Afternoon Christmas tours. Guides will share stories and memories of what it was like to spend Christmas with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll at Graceland. Additionally, customers looking for an extra special experience can book the UVIP Christmas Tour which includes an after-hours tour of Graceland Mansion with special photo ops, a private guide, an outdoor tour of the mansion’s decorated grounds, and more. Graceland Live will also celebrate the season with two holiday shows at Graceland Soundstage.
