PM visits family of Shaheed Maj Talha, Sweet Homes – Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday visited the family of Shaheed Major Talha Mannan, who embraced martyrdom in Balochistan during the recent helicopter crash.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, where he expressed his condolences to the family of Shaheed Major Talha Mannan. The First met with Officer Shaheed’s mother, her family members and offered Fateha for the deceased soul.

In a statement, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting said the martyrs are the pride of the nation and their sacrifices will never be in vain.

“Our martyrs sacrificed their lives for the right path,” she said while offering her condolences to the family of Shaheed Major Talha Mannan, who embraced martyrdom in Balochistan during the helicopter crash.

She sympathized with Major Talha’s mother and paid tribute to her for having made great sacrifices for the country.

“The whole nation is proud of the mothers who gave birth to sons like Talha Mannan,” she said, adding that her sacrifice for the country would never be forgotten.

Earlier today, the Prime Minister visited Sweet Homes to take part in the Independence Day event organized by the children.

On occasion, the Prime Minister announced to offer buses for the transport of children from Sweet Homes.

He also recognized and appreciated the role of Zamurd Khan who provides free education to orphans.

The Prime Minister said that in accordance with the principles of Islam, his government is ready to provide any form of assistance to all children in Sweet Homes.
