It’s finally here. Welcome to the Channel Partner Conference and Exhibition and Co-located MSP Summit!
After what seemed like an eternity in the live events business, the Channel Partners Conference and Expo returns this week with an in-person event, November 1-4, in Las Vegas. The conference, which traditionally took place twice a year in the spring and fall, had been sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020. Its return is welcomed across the spectrum. Direct sales agent channels, managed service providers, IT solutions vendors and consultants and their vendor partners.
With COVID-19 infection rates declining in recent weeks and positive news about the delta variant withdrawal, registrations and sponsorships have reached near-record levels for one of the most popular conferences and channel exhibitions. important and oldest in the industry. The registration numbers have shown not only keen interest from telecom and cable direct sales agents, but also from MSPs who are eager to participate in the launch of the MSP Summit, which focuses on the future. channel activity and new ways to generate recurring income. .
The event would not have been possible without strategic guidance from the Channel Futures / Channel Partners Advisory Board, which is made up of industry thought leaders representing all sectors of the industry. The board helped carefully guide the Informa Tech Channels group through the worst of the pandemic by helping navigate the turbulence and launching innovative digital connections for an audience of senior channel executives. This work kept executives connected until it was safe to bring attendees back to an in-person event, which will surpass 5,000 chain attendees. Along the way, board members challenged the team of distribution partners to redefine the event experience and deliver more value to attendees. The result: keynotes, workshops and other presentations that are more interactive than in the past. We have personalized content based on the individual needs of our participants. Without a doubt, we were able to reshape the platform of the event.
The channel partner conference and exhibit also leveraged the wisdom, operational excellence, and resources of the world’s largest conference and exhibit company, Informa. Just weeks before the launch of this event, Informa’s Black Hat Conference was held in Las Vegas, welcoming over 6,000 security professionals. Black Hat’s operations team was able to impart best practices in security protocols, manage overall participant security efforts, implement mask requirements, provide COVID testing -19 onsite and execute disinfection initiatives that would put all participants at ease in meetings. , receptions, exhibition halls and all other activities.
The event brings together leaders from the most powerful channels in the industry who will address the most pressing issues of the day with a focus on security, 5G, UCaaS, RMM, recurring revenue, mobility, cloud and hybrid work in conferences and breakout sessions. There is something for everyone. Executives from AT&T, Datto, T-Mobile, Comcast, Check Point, Nextiva, Intelisys, Pax8, Verizon, Vonage and more will speak on stage in a program featuring 100 industry experts. Not only will key voices from the vendor and technology vendor community be represented, but a record number of sessions will feature perspectives from key MSPs and direct sales agents who will participate in town hall-style sessions, sharing best practices. Among them, Insight, which was # 1 on the MSP 501. Leading industry consultants, researchers and analysts will also be in attendance, including Tiffani Bova, author and Salesforce client evangelist; Janet Schijns of the JS Group; and Jay McBain of Forrester.
Top MSPs will be honored at this year’s MSP 501 Gala Awards Ceremony, which will include the Leader of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award Winner and MSP’s Individual Achievement for Performance exceptional sales. We will not only honor the winners of 2021, but we will pay special tribute to the winners of last year.
Attendees will also be treated to a special opening session by motivational speaker Kevin Brown. He will share an overview of his latest book and observations from his work on the hero effect, which has been the centerpiece of his work. Brown’s insight will help every leader in any organization to better appreciate their teams and employees so that the customer experience can reach new heights. Many channel events forget that while it is important to hear the voice of partners and suppliers, the most important is that of the customer. This week, attendees will have the voices of top IT executives from Zoom, MGM Resorts, Las Vegas Raiders and Amerisure. The evolving role of the CIO, as well as what today’s buyers expect from their partners, will be discussed in detail with these personalities.
The Channel Partners Conference and Expo also believes its attendees should have fun and entertainment, especially given the stress everyone has faced over the past 20 months. Thus, participants will be entitled to special performances by the Blue Man Group and Penn & Teller.
After the conference sessions and speeches are over, attendees will travel to the exhibition hall where nearly 300 technology vendors and vendors will showcase their latest technologies, solutions, services and offerings for partners.
For those who cannot attend this event in person, the Channel Partners Conference & Expo offers a digital platform filled with exclusive content as well as speeches that will be broadcast from the event. Much has changed in the wake of the pandemic and the business model for this event going forward will include digital content delivered online in a hybrid event format.
The journey to this event was one that no one will ever forget and everyone is grateful to be reunited again at our reunion themed conference.
